IN the 70's a small company was founded in California . that company revolutionalised the skateboard industry they not only started producing the best skateboard decks but also produced what I see as the best vintage skareboard art on the plant. Santa Cruz Skateboards from Santa Cruz, CA was made in the 1973 by parent company NHS Inc The company exploded into the industry in the early 1980's.
They made a multitude of successful brands such as Slimeballs, Independent, and the Howling Hand. Its normal logotype of bony, slanted text in a red circle ( shown ) is an example of the most renowned logos of skateboard selling.
